DreTL, an Atlanta native through and through, grew up in the historic Summerhill neighborhood and rose from humble beginnings to become a prominent voice in the city’s rap scene. A music production graduate of Georgia State University, where he earned his degree in December 2024, he first built his reputation by captivating campus crowds with his raw lyrics and energetic performances. As the season two winner of Netflix’s Rhythm and Flow, DreTL has solidified his status as a rising star. Known for blending Atlanta’s rich culture with his journey, he has performed at events like Poetry vs. Hip-Hop, Georgia State’s Spring Carnival, and various other venues around the city. With his authenticity and drive, DreTL continues to gain traction in the music industry.
